Georgia Overby - Writer/Director

Georgia Overby is a Filmmaker originally from San Diego, California. An NYU UGFTV Senior who has written and directed 7 and produced 13 short films. Georgia has always been drawn to the dark beauty of the wilderness and what can happen to those caught alone out there. Many of her stories take place in the woods following the journeys of characters who find themselves not as alone amongst nature as they had previously believed.

Her next project The Red Boot is a culmination of everything she has been building toward. Another film set in the wilderness but on a scale in which she has never been able to accomplish until now. A true exploration into the deep dark of the woods and the horror that awaits the unprepared who venture into it.
